I decided to give this shampoo another chance and would like to amend my review of March 2019. I recently cut my hair to a chin length layered bob and used this shampoo with the accompanying conditioner and was extremely pleased and surprised with the results. I have fine but a lot of hair and after using these products, my hair was full, bouncy and shiny. You only have to use very little product to get hair clean and I'm sure I used too much when first using the shampoo. I would purchase this again and would encourage others to try it.

I will preface my review by saying that I have fine shoulder length hair but a lot of hair. It's always been healthy and I do not process my hair. I have been using this for a while and although it cleanses well (using only a pea size amount) and has a wonderful citrus scent, my hair is too soft after using this shampoo and it tends to lay flat after styling. I generally use another volumizing shampoo offered by The Choosy Chick and think I will stick to that one since it works much better for me. This shampoo may work well for someone whose hair is coarse and thick.
