Is your skin complicated? Do you have dry, sensitive skin, but suffer from breakouts? We have a great success story from one of our guest bloggers. Australian yogi, Andrea Leber, has found the solution to her own complicated skin. Read her personal account:
In the book of cosmetic companies, I don’t seem to exist. I’m not a “skin type” they cater to. There are products for oily skin with blemishes, and all they do is turn my skin into a freakishly dry, squeaking, rubbery surface. They get rid of the blemishes, but they wreck havoc with the rest of my skin. I end up looking ten years older.
Products for dry and sensitive skin just add layer after layer of moisturizing substances – my pimples love that! They literally soak it all up to grow!
I’ve also tried combining products for different skin types, using a cleanser for oily skin and applying a moisturizer for dry skin. I can tell you, it doesn’t work at all.
To add another layer of complexity, I also wanted to fight those first fine lines that turn into serious wrinkles. I never gave it much thought, but after moving to Australia, I started looking for moisturizer that caters to my skin type, but also offers sun protection - at least SPF 30!
Turns out, there’s one company that has solved my skin concerns and I’ll be forever thankful it exists: Kimberly Sayer of London.
I don’t know how she does it, but this woman develops products for dry, mature AND sensitive skin, while providing UV protection and ingredients to manage those first fine lines. And she does all that using non-GMO, steam distilled, certified organic ingredients!
I use three of her products, and seriously, they do it all:
The Gentle Face Cleanser comes in a dispenser that does not release too much of the product after one pump. It’s super soft and creamy on the skin, does not leave it feeling dry and stretched, yet draws out absolutely all impurities and removes every single layer of my makeup – yes, even eye makeup! It’s so nice that you don’t even feel the need to immediately apply moisturizer and so gentle to the skin that you can use it twice a day without disrupting the skin’s natural PH level.
In the morning, I apply the Anti-Oxidant Daily Moisturizer with SPF 30. It absorbs quickly so you can apply your makeup or BB Cream right away! This is by far the best beauty product I’ve ever come across. It gives full sun protection, moisturizes and does not leave a white layer of zinc on your skin. Oh, and it also helps to repair damaged cells deep within the skin. What more could you possibly want?
In the evening, I apply the Hydrating Anti-Oxidant Facial Mask. Well, it’s simply fantastic. You apply it, and that’s it. Yes, it’s a leave-on mask - no rinsing, which is great! Afterwards, your skin feels perfect. Saturated, refreshed, and 100% happy. Kimberly recommends using twice weekly, but I find a thin layer works wonders even if applied more often than that.
Kimberly Sayer’s products are not only organic and have all the ingredients you’d want, but they’re reasonably priced and you only need a teeny tiny bit – so your pots, tubes and jars last a long time! She has an array of products to suit even the most complex skin types.
