Too cold to head outside?  Trying to stick to a budget? Concerned about the safety of the products your local spa uses?  We have some great ideas and products to turn your bathroom into your own non-toxic home spa retreat.  And - you'll have enough product to do it all over again next week without having to book an appointment or get a babysitter!

 

Step 1.  Draw the bath

Step 2.  Apply your facial mask

 Step 3. Deep condition winter dry hair

Directions to use as deep conditioning treatment: Apply conditioner to clean, wet hair.  Leave on while soaking in the tub or up to 30 minutes.  You can apply a shower cap (or recycle a plastic bag) to hold in heat.  Alternatively, if used out of the tub, you may apply low heat for added moisture.  Rinse throughly.  For more moisture, let conditioner dry into hair and leave in for a day or two, then shampoo and condition as usual.  Use weekly for extremely damaged or over-processed hair until it has been restored to a healthy state, or monthly treatments to maintain the health and strength of normal to dry hair. 

Step 4:  Don't forget your feet!  

While you probably haven't seen those feet close up for a while now with cooler temps - don't neglect!  Use an exfoliating scrub on your feet and follow with Mint Your Feet Foot Balm by Kosmatology.  Massage a small amount into heels and desired areas and leave on overnight.  For added overnight moisture retention, put your socks on afterwards.
